As the Communications Manager of the Irish Guild of Sommeliers (IGS), I am happy to share that we have a fantastic challenge coming up!
The Irish wine industry is booming with wine talent, and the IGS wants to find la crème de la crème amongst our youth.
In the wise words of Taylor Swift, Are you ready for it?
Who can participate?
If you are a wine professional, trainee or student aged 30 and under working at restaurants, hotels, wine bars, retail, distribution or studying about wine, this challenge is for you.
What is it about?
The challenge is divided into 3 sections:
🍷FORTE
Selecting wine for purpose
🍷WINESPEAK
A new perspective on how you think, talk & taste
🍷THEORY/PRACTICE
Knowledge level approx. WSET/ ASI Level 1/ CMS CS

When & where
The IGS 30 under 30 challenge will take place at the gorgeous Drury Buildings in Dublin 2 on June 9th from 11 am to 2 pm.
